Hi. I am very very busy the last months, but nearly an the top of my things to do list is to make new sounds for the Sherman.
I am planning to reduce the volume of all the motor sounds. Definitely they are too loud for my taste... I mean, I know I can adjust the overall volume with the radio, but the problem is with so loud motors is not easy to heard machine guns and so on. I also want to create my custom warm engine start sound (the cold one lasts something about 35 seconds. I LOVE IT, lol)
But if everything goes like planned, my idea is to have all the sounds for the sherman this year, so once I have the full soundset I'll send it to you, so you can upload it on the forum if you want. I added a ton user sounds, (radio voices, explosions, songs...) so I'd need to make a video 2 hours long to show all of them, lol. Bot no worries, I'll send everything to you.
About the momentum, I have it in some of my models. Due to I was in the street with two of my sons (are the ones that are running at the background
) and they played with the sherman too, I had the momentum disabled. I wanted them to be able to brake the tank instantly if needed, because you never know what can happen, lol.
About the slower motion, It might be a case of my bad skills driving when filming, lol. I'll try to do another video creeping. Also the tracks were a bit jammed with the dry leaves. They acummulate between the sprochet and the hull so I had to give a bit more of throttle.
If you buy a sherman kit, give me a ring before you assemble it, I have a couple of tips that can help you making your sherman last longer.
