Re: Wish list for the ASP 3

Hi Kevin, I got the replacement wick. It's Kevlar and a little thicker than the original. I wasn't getting any smoke, so I started doing tests, I disconnected the fan. With the heater connected to battery, I get smoke, not too much, just fine. But when connected to SS, I get no smoke at all. And the...

Re: Wish list for the ASP 3

I haven't had time to buy a new wick yet, looking for kevlar or fiberglass, so once I get it I'll test the SS. But Kevin, can you update the programming so smoker can be turned on/off from all 4 startup modes instead of just the 2?

Re: Wish list for the ASP 3

Hi Kevin, Thank you for the files, I uploaded them all, though LED and MAIN from May I already had, but reloaded them all anyway. Before starting any testing I opened up my TARR smoker (because my smoke has been mostly not working the last few times I ran the tank) and I found the heating element is...

Re: Wish list for the ASP 3

Hi Pete Yep there is a release code for SS and fan/heater based smoke units. It requires an update of the ICs on Asp also so that the smoke will heat up from power on. I'll post it in this thread later today. Cheers KG Ok, thanks. I may already have that IC updated, since you sent me some updates i...

Re: Wish list for the ASP 3

Well, no point to dwell on details... no airsoft support - puts me out of the game.. Looks like I'll have to research alternatives for the next few tanks... The day I switch to IR would be the day a cactus grows on the palm of my hand... lol ;) Kevin, did you finally fix the SS programming to work w...

Re: Sirvoe - another mode (rear lights)

Thanks Kevin. Yeah, I know the concept of using the resistor to dim the LEDs. But following your instructions, wouldn't ground from the rear light port on asp feed back to headlights via the resistor? It would make them dimmer, sure. So that solution would work well assuming you will never turn the ...

Sirvoe - another mode (rear lights)

Hi Kevin, Just writing to see how viable this would be. It kind of relates to my email asking for KV1 sounds so I can install my remaining ASP2 in KV1 instead of my bulldog (which is in pieces anyway). But the main reason it's still in pieces is because I need to make sure my wiring for rear lights ...

Re: Clark RC declares war on RCTA

Wow! If he could produce it years ago, why didn't he? There was always a demand for it. It's all talk and no action. Personally, if I had to choose between 2 similar products differentiating in price by $100, I would consider the cheaper (unless it was severely inferior, like Clark boards are to ASP...
