These photos are excellent reference material. Thanks for posting them. If you ever take more photos please take some with a measuring tape like the one showing the bolt size.

Probably I wil be in La Gleize at the end of June with friends to go riding with our bicycles. I will try to make some photo"s with a measuring tape.

It was left behind by the Kampfgruppe Peiper in La Gleize. The Germans blew the canon to take it out, that's all. It stood there during the war. the Pastor of La Gleize bought the tank from the Amiricans for a bottle of Cognac. In the 50"s it was moved to its current position. They found a 75 mm barrel at a farmer. He used it as a drainage pipe!!! So the welded the 75 mm on the King Tiger. Only the last 10 years the restauration took a professional level. It stands now proudly in front of the museum. Before you ask it's not in running conditions anymore.

we be there the first two weeks on vacation in Barveaux only 1,5 km of the panther in Grandmenil its a paradise to be on the ardennes with your family but also for modellers. The panther in grandmenil is also nice as reference

the foto's of the koti were not all mine i mixed them up with internet pics to get the total picture
if you will i'll take more this summer when we get there
there is also a panther in celles

and one in Houffalize, one of the best panthers still today in belgium none of them rides
