Hey guys ,just a thought, was doin a delivery to a service station today when i had a look in their scrape bin as i always do.Its amazing what a guy can find in those things for his tank, springs, brake tube for exhausts etc when i saw a bunch of old dipsticks, the flat ones. And thats when the thought hit me, could you use these as replacements for say the tamiya tiger and other torsion sprung tanks. They appear to be pretty solid when you apply a bit of a twist to them, i could not put a permenant twist in one.Not really any good in my scale,1/6, but could be a cheap alternative for the 1/16 or 1/24 scale boys.Go check out your local servo.

Good Idea! Never thought of running by a shop and checking their trash. I have a buddy that owns a shop. I guess I will be making more frequent stops there now.
