IMPORTANT NEWS FOR 2.4gHz Heng Long Users
Without modification of the cable connecting MAKO2 to the Heng Long 2.4gHz MFU MAKO2 will NOT offer anti-track recoil blocking. This is because Heng Long have changed the timings on these boards such that the recoil is initiated BEFORE the IR signal is activated. To achieve track recoil blocking Heng Long 2.4gHz users will need to now route the microswitch signal DIRECT to MAKO2. Fortunately this is a relatively simple mod and a pic of the mod is shown below.

IF you do not wish to do the cable mod as shown above. One can always use a Komodo+ board for recoil blocking. Below is a video showing that all of the MAKO2 IR functions are operational with the Heng Long 2.4gHz board. It is only the track recoil blocking that is affected.

It has occurred to me that the old ATRC boards can now be used as solder free track recoil circuits for the 2.4gHz boards.
see the post here:

Please see the post now at the beginning of this topic which now allows for MAKO2 to block the track recoil on the new Heng Long 2.4 gHz MFUs
