Battle day sunday 19TH February at HOYA GARDEN PLAZA 546 Redland Bay Rd, ALEXANDRA HILLS at 9.00. This will be the first battle day for the year so we want to see all those new tanks out there. See you all there Chris |

What a top day we all had ,big numbers of members and tanks and kids. The kids were a great help in setting up the diorama. Kevin was there putting Mako boards in a big line up of HL owners ready to shoot it up with the tamiyas. It was a real hot one today but didnt stop a huge number of tanks on the field ,had a death match and capture the flag ,then is was all out to get any tamiya that wandered on to the field. So thanks to everyone how made it a top day to be out tanking. Chris |

Posts: 150 Re: FEBRUARY BATTLE DAY PICS « Reply #10 on: Today at 08:57:10 PM » Quote Modify Remove Good evening members and guests,firstly i must apologise for not having commented earlier re sunday battle day but have been having issues with phone lines etc,so here i go, To all that attended on sunday at hoya,a big warm thankyou for what was without doubt the biggest and best attended day that we have since starting this club 2 yrs ago,i personally was blown away see to cars and people just keep arriving on sunday and it was great to see some new and fresh faces and to see the kids helping, brought home just what these sort of clubs and gatherings are all about,great fun with great people,we had a bit of fun albeit a bit disorganised but fun anyway,and dave well i will give him a kill on my tiger but watch out,as discussed kevs new system has opened up this hobby to all ages and budgets,and i could see that new tanks had been painted etc,thanks chris,also a bit of a fly by from ken with his mosquito,what next,i will close by saying thankyou to all and what a great club we have,now cant wait till next meeting,km60 I must also add a big thankyou to all at Hoya Garden Centre for allowing us the use of the venue. |
