Hi scottb03 Welcome to RCTA, good to see you getting into tanks, they are great fun with plenty of upgrades etc... Where are you from, we have a club in Canberra, a couple of clubs in QLD, one in VIC and a few tankers sprinkled around the rest of Oz . Cheers Gra ![]() |

Welcome to the forum Scott. As for converting to 2.4ghz easiest route is a RC5HL adapter, uses the same HL electronics but replaces the crystal based HL receiver, but you still need to add your own radio and receiver. There is also a lot of after market upgrade electronics out there. But before spending the money it probably best getting yourself along to a club to chat with other tankers and see how their rate them. Ian. |

Hi Scott As per other message. Since you are here in Brissy just come on over with your Planet radio. Probably no better chance to see. Not all receivers output the channels in order. The only possible way for it not to work is if the channels are not sent out 1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6 Also I suspect that once you see what the 9X series of radios can do at the price they are you might find another use for the Planet other than tanks Cheers KG |
