I've been lurking for a few weeks now and have decided its time to identify my self. I am really impressed by this forum and the supporters of it with the great DIY vids, historical info, and so on. Very professional. I have several HL tank upgrades in progress (Pz III and KV-1). The info here is definitely got me rethinking my options. Best Regards Frank

Hi Frank Welcome to the forum. Thanks for the comments.
There are a whole lot of new items to help with DIY mods in the pipeline here at RC Tanks Australia all designed to be affordable, reliable and will hopefully add something to the hobby.
Cheers Kevin G

Ian,
I have been working on a mod of the KV-1 recoil. Performing a mod described on several other sights that reverses the recoil direction. I like the brute force approach of phyrefish a little better though with the servo. Unfortunately work and family (I've got a 6 year old boy) have been slowing me down. Looking for some time off work to make some progress.
Frank

O yes the recoil mod. Done it on both my KV1 turrets recently, plus fitted the tank modellbau correct barrel not long ago either. I've a Asiatam recoil in my Tiger but much prefer the modded HL recoil think it works so much better.
Ian.
