Well that was one hell of a day, unreal!

Lads the Western Port Festival is coming up 23/2/13. All interested parties are to be at the Hastings Foreshore Reserve, Mel Ref: 154,K9, prior to pilot briefing 0900 - 0930, to set up static display etc. As well as to be briefed on days activities and safety protocols, we have to abide by certain guidelines as per VMAA (Victorian Model Aircraft Association) procedures, these relate to transmitter usage etc, all will be explained on the day. All scales invited. The aircraft lads will be firing up around 1000, some activity and then they'll stop at about 1200 for an hour (this is to allow street parade to proceed) and then recommence at 1300, mock battle with special effects then kicks in between 1300 - 1400 (weather permitting), any large scale stuff would be well appreciated as well as 1:16 and the like. We will be provided with a dedicated static area, and I'll bring brochures to hand out. Lads be prepared to enjoy yourselves as this is going to be a great day.
