Hi All Yep a great day out, we just drove tanks all day until batts went flat. huge crowd, more than 15,000 visitors. Many thanks to the PGS team, 6 of us attended, a great team effort in setting up and dismantling and driving/showing the tanks through the day. Many thanks to Damo who carted our gear in his ute (wouldn't fit on Biff's Harley). We had 28 tanks and good to see Ross's 1:6 Panther (WIP) and Brian's 1:9 Abrams there, though the 1:16 tanks stole the show running around on the ground and the Tank Walk just had the crowds, at times up to 4 deep right round our tent and demo area. The ground proved a test for the tanks with various adjustments and repairs being carried out through the day. It was non stop driving the tanks for the crowd and it wasn't long before we had to sit LOL... Many thanks again to the PGS team and the AWM for having us attending their event how some got to Canberra with tanks in the back hit a land mine ![]() more to follow ![]() |
