The club is putting on a display on at Cancon in Canberra on the 26th and 27th of January. (its a 3 day event we will be there for Sat and Sun only)

CanCON is a large wargame conference held over a couple of days at Exhibition Park in Canberra. Also note that this is the 100th anniversay of wargaming - apparently HG Wells wrote a book in 1913 called 'Little Games' and that was the start of wargames. As such, they are holding the world championships for historical games. A big deal in the wargame world. The ACT Games society is keen to promote local clubs that have some association with wargames and Panzergruppe South fits the bill so they are keen to have us. We may have to watch the noise a bit.
This event will be full of WWII nuts ( as well as sci-fi and fantasy geeks) so I think the tanks will go down well - The Flames of War guys will love it.

One of our members has made up a "tank walk" to demonstrate how the tanks run and you can see all the supension working etc... it sits on a couple of tables and is good for small area display and can be folded out for larger areas, our first test run this weekend.
so any tankers out there come along for a great day out (not far from Sydney)
