Panzergruppe South Xmas Tank Day & working bee - Sun 20 Dec - Jerrabomberra Ave CMR Symonston Canberra

At the New PGS Tank Field, end of Jerrabomberra Ave Symonston, off Hindmarsh Drive go past Geoscience Building and the Canberra Greyhound race track. Its incorporated in the grounds Canberra Miniature Railway site (CMR) Jerrabomberra Ave is a 4 lane road then merges into 1 lane through a gate, go to near end of lane then on the left.

Start 9.00am to 3.00pm
it will be part tank day and working bee to start construction of our new battle Field.
Come all and try out our great new venue, inside and outside if the weather is fine, coffee and tea supplied

Hi Tankers,
PGS had a great time on Sunday at our new outdoor site. Thanks to Wobbly, Biff, Chris, MrWhitman, Ivo and Gra for attending. We first had coffee and chocolate refrigerated Mud cake and then headed out for the day in 100 deg heat to start on building our village. The village is going to be the main centre of the stage so to speak and from there we will head out to build the farms, hills, roads and forests etc.
Thanks to Wobbly who found an ever ending supply of bessa blocks and what we had already collected the village was started and now have the main town centre, few houses small streets and damaged buildings. Its made like the european type village couple of large roads then the rest are small so the big tanks have to be very careful not to get caught cause they can't turn. we tested the driving ability of maundering around the town and it was surprisingly quiet easy without hitting any concrete blocks, this is just the start so a long way to go yet.
