I have to agree with you, as it is no fun driving tanks around in the dark.
It is very hard driving tanks around in the dark without bumping into one another or buildings, causing damage to what one puts a lot of time into building, but I am trying to improve that with free standing led lights.
I am selling one of my trucks and the fuel tanker trailer as I have decided that two trucks and trailers is all I want.
The tanks to me and Ellaine are more important and that is not going to change.
There has been a big drop off in members with tanks.
There is Ellaine and myself, you, Mark, David Cochrane, who bring tanks all the time, and Andrew who sometimes brings his tank.
I have even thought about starting my own club, but I only will do that if things in the club get worse where the tanks are concerned.

To be honest twilight meets aren't really big for tanks - after all they are not meant to be seen and don't have an awful lot of fairy lights. Basically they are bat shit boring at night.
Plus there is a Fete on at the school next door with fireworks that night

As I am only a Founding Member it seems that it has been left up to me to post meeting dates and times on the RC Tanks Australia site as the Media Officer is not interested in Tanks.
Sorry for this very short notice. Our next meeting is on Saturday 10th September 2016, at Ormiston State School, Gordon St, Ormiston.
The gates will be open from 3pm.

The fees remain unchanged.
$30 per Adult (15 years old +)
$35 per Family Membership
(2 x Adults + 2 x Children under 15 Years old)
Could members renewing their Membership please come and see myself (Gary) to get the form to fill out prior to paying the Treasurer Ellaine thanks.
There will be some food available. Not sure if we will be doing some small burgers/ cold drinks or not. So could someone come up with some ideas on this post. Volunteers needed!

As of the last Twilight Meeting that was held Saturday 21st May, Mark has stood down as Club President due to ongoing health issues.
I can only say that, I hope that Mark has a speedy recovery.
I have been made Club President of the RC Tanks, and Ian Wall is President of the RC Trucks.
Our June Meeting will be held on Sunday 12th June at Ormiston State Primary, Gordon St, Ormiston.
Gates open from 8am.
Could all members please remember the $5 subs for each participating adult only.
There will be the usual sausage sizzle for a gold coin donation.
Ellaine and myself will have the Tea & Coffee on for a gold coin donation as well.
