The program cable is a standard FTDI chip interface. RCTA neither makes these cables nor any of the firmware. Drivers need to be installed for this cable to work.

PLEASE BE AWARE RCTA WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT WHATSOEVER FOR INSTALLATION OF ANY SOFTWARE OR DRIVERS ON ANY COMPUTER. ANYTHING YOU DO WITH DS30 IS COMPLETELY AT YOUR OWN RISK AND UNDERTAKING.

Please refer to your computer expert "Google" as this FTDI USB interface is extremely common and plenty of more knowledgeable support is out there.
