The double-5A speed controller includes all the components to control two DC motors in a tracked vehicle. The integrated mixer is reversing, ie up to half a steering rash is a proportional reduction of speed. Up to the full deflection of the steering control is then proportional to the driving direction. This "turning on your plate" is possible.

The ESC is typically used in a model with a total consumption of 240 watts(10 amps maximum regardless of voltage). The ESC is appropriate for use with Tamiya 1/16th scale and other models.

The ESC is suitable for 7.2 - 24 Volts. This provides scope for most RC model projects from 6 cell NiCd/NiMh stick packs all the way to 24V lead acid batteries. A fuse protects the module and the battery.
